I'm new here....I was looking through some of the projects/posts from the past and reading up on interesting stuff.

I am amazed at some of the creativite mechanical ideas and fabrication stuff you all are employing. Gives me a lot of hope for my projects....(I got a lot to learn).

You know what it is like, there is that pile up of stuff in the garage and it can be overwealming at times, but seeing some of the rigs and stuff you guys have overcome gives me a posite feeling....I am psyched to finish this and get it going.

Thanks for all the posts!

Sat's project was to try and get the 76' up and running...Still need to get ity to my place.

Tried to start it when I got there, dead battery. Jumped it, still nothing. Cleaned connections on the starter and got it to start. Was back firing a bit & needed full choke to keep it going.

Fuel leaking profusely...fixed fuel leak with new hose piece. got it going again and would not run without jumper cables delivering current.

Replaced the alternator & battery and pulled off some charcoal canister with broken airline output, rerouted the air line.

Started up great on first turn of the key and ran nice, had it going for 20 minutes as I kicked the choke down...sounds a lot better & no back fire.

Cool...making progress. Only cost me about a $1.50 for the hose...all the other stuff was spare parts we alredy had. Called it a day.

Need to go back soon and run brake lines to rear, install modulator for rear disks hook it up and adjust. Needs shocks installed in front.

My Bro. swapped on the rear axle, (with disks) from the 77', but did not complete the hook up. He also install HFS? HSF? FHS? Leaf springs to go with the 4" lift. It looks like it should go pretty good...I am Psyched! Cant wait to get it registered and buttoned up.

I took a bunch of pics, but am having trouble getting them on my computer to cut down the image size so I can post em' here. I'll get it done soon.

 , Sam.

Here's some pics of the tan one...I have been working on it to get it running good, brakes finished so I can get it over to my place for more tweaking.
