Importing an 80 from japan (1 Viewer)

Hey, I want to import an HDJ81 from Japan to Canada. Are there any downsides other than the obvious? (extra money, risk, etc.)
I've been looking on export sites like BE FORWARD: Japanese Used Cars for Sale - https://www.beforward.jp/, and JDMbuysell.com . is this the right way to do things? I am also unclear on if I am able to have an inspection of the vehicle in Japan. Should I be dealing with an export/import agent? Thanks!!
