Well, Matt did say he wanted to sell his FJC when the mods are complete and get an 80 - here's the project prototype for him!

Well, if you have the money, I wouldn't spend it on a 'petrol' engine, even though gas is like what, .25 gallon in the UAE?

Diesel is what you need, a Duramax to be exact. 700hp and 1000 lbtq would barely be scratching the capabilities. Plus, gets good mileage, and most importantly for your local, runs cool!

By brother in law, owner of Pacific Performance Engineering (insert plug here) www.pacificp.com - talk to Joe - builds Duramaxs. Just did that one for 'Pimp My Ride' where they shoved a 800hp, 1400 ftlbtq Duramax into a 65 Impala - and ran it on bio-diesel!

He also has built MANY vehicles for various Shieks over there. Used to put in the 500 cuin Mercruiser engines for them. Problem was, it is so damn hot over there, those petrol engines would just burn up (Ok, hauling a 10k horse trailer when it's 130 degrees out at full throttle doesn't help), but, they cannot get enough Duramax engines fast enough. Diesels, by nature, run cool. Combine that with the near indestructable engine design, gobs (and gobs more) of power, and good mileage, they are the way to go! Gassers are becoming a 'thing of the past'
