I just inherited a 2000 Lexus LX470 in desert tan with 96K miles. I used to spend time on here when I first had a '98 UZJ100 and then a '93 FZJ80. Both were sold when I switched to diesel trucks but now I'm back into the Land Cruiser family. (once you have a Land Cruiser, you'll always come back)

My AHC is sagging on the driver's side so a shock/spring conversion is first on the list. Glad to be back!

Welcome! Was ur LX from FL?

Welcome back,

Lets see the new to you LX.

Sorry for your loss if that's what led to the "inheritance" part.

Thanks for all of the replies. Traskew3, yes, it was in FL. How did you know that? Thanks for all of the tips. The good news is there wasn't a death in the family. My parents are in a retirement community and it was time for them to give up driving.

I just went through all of the receipts and unfortunately, the 90k service was never done. However, they replaced all four AHC accumulators with a hydraulic fluid change just two years ago. Yikes! If I had known, I would have never had them do that. over $4k. I guess I'm going to be changing a timing belt and water pump soon.

I'll post a pic soon!
