You: Voodoo Blue, rigged to perfection, parked near College and Derby.

Me: wandering to get a coffee

Just saying hi. Simply beautiful. I stopped and stared; my friend stared at me.

Mind me asking who makes your front bumper?

The front is an Expedition One with the front hoop. They came out with the "snake eyes" version later, (angled headlight protection attached at the bumper and hoop) and I would have probably spent a little extra for it. It has enough room to drop a 9K winch in from the top, so if the bumper is on before the winch, it's still an easy install. I have beat it for four years with no complaints and highly recommend it.

Hopefully before too long those plates will be on our 55.

I have installed a s***-ton of of bumpers on FJCs, all brands, and the Expedition One is by far the best designed and the best fit IMO. I still have first-run Demello bumpers front and rear on mine and they've served me well for 6.5 years and 130,000 miles, but if I was doing it over again for any reason it would be with Expedition One for sure.
