I will be replacing the plugs, wires (wires are original), and cap on thurs with OEM. The Haynes manual says the plug gap to be set @ 0.032" and the owners manual says to gap @ 0.042.
1. Should I go with the owners manual?
2. If I go with the larger gap could I bump my timing up a little also? (I was thinking of bumping the timing from 7* to 10* btdc)

As you can see from the sig. line I am trying to find as many HP's as possible. I plan on keeping the coil OEM for reliablility issues, but could be swayed if there are some satisfied customers out there.

If you have any doubt, look for a sticker on the hood or somewhere underhood. Toyota has always listed this stuff right on the engine bay area to avoid any confusion.
