I've got a '79 Pig, and I have let it sit for 2 months while I was overseas. It was fine when I left (the ignition switch, that is...). However, when I got back, the key goes in the switch but is stuck after that. It does not turn. I've tried WD-40 and Silicone Spray w/ no luck. To get the switch out, the manual says to put the switch in the "accessory position" and push in the small pin. However, as you guessed, I cannot put the switch in the Accessory position. Any suggestions to fix it or get it out?
Thanks in advance,
Chuck

Howdy! Try turning the steering wheel and bumping against the steering lock in both directions while jiggling the key. I've had a couple of different cars that needed this to free up the key. John
