I woke up to my horn blaring uncontrollably at 7am while we were having quite the rainstorm. I yanked the wires out to stop it, and realized that I was getting a ton of water into my drivers footwell due to a clogged sunroof drain. Snaked it out, NBD, and have had a fan blowing on the electrical components for about an hour now.

However, whenever I open my drivers door, the chime goes off like I left keys in the ignition. Chime only stops when the LC is running or when the door is closed. Haven't seen this issue on here yet.

What broke? How can I fix this?

TIA

Did you figure it out? I parked downhill forward in the first rain we've had in a while. Today on the drive first the dash was all messed up (RPM zero, oil and coolant zero). After an hour drive the dash stuff cleared up but I realized the key chime/dinging continued, like you describe, after taking the key out. Car still locks fine. Everything works fine now. Just continuous dinging. Is a computer box somewhere drying out? I did see a bunch of water under the A pillar on the passenger side but I thought the kid spilled his water. I wasn't able to reproduce it with a hose. So annoying!
