I think I have a bad coil. When I went online to order a new coil, I see a "spark plug tube seal" also comes up but I'm not clear on exactly what that is and where it goes.

I think this "tube seal" comes with the coil but I'm not sure. Anyone know?

I’m not an expert, But I’m pretty sure that’s a seal for the engine casing, not for the spark plug. There are some threads about oil leaking into the spark plug wells, and that seal is what fails, and is hard to replace.

Yes. I believe you are correct.
