Atlanta Custom Cruisers in Atlanta is the only real Land Cruiser shop in Atalanta. There is another so called shop that will convince you that they can work on your truck but BEWARE, they (he) is a lying crook. I am not trying to violate the forum rules with this post so I won't mention the name but suffice it to say ACC rescued me and fixed my truck after the other shop said they wouldn't.

Atlanta Custom Cruisers was swamped (normal for a great shop) when I needed them to step in and document everything they found wrong with the conversion of my 62 to the 5 speed manual, and they did. With the pictures they took, and their documentation as they took the truck apart, I was able to recover most of the repair costs. It wasn't easy, but suffice it to say DOCUMENT EVERYTHING IN WRITING! Had I not had the documentation I would have been out a few thousand more dollars. Even with great shops, document!

If you put the deposits on your credit card, and the work will take more than 60 days to complete and pick the truck up, call you credit card company and follow up with an email about the charges and let them know it was a deposit and not a payment for services. Again, if you ever want to know just PM or email me.

You want to know more, or if the moderators will let me post here, I'll tell you the horror story. You can PM me, or send me an email to tiredofmediabias at gmail dot com and I'll answer your questions. I hope the state of Georgia along with the City of Atlanta will prosecute the POS and throw him in jail.
