idle up valve (1 Viewer)

hi ,
i have to replace the valve for the idle up device on my hzj75 ( 24 volt) ,
part number is 88690-60080 but i can't find it, it's no longer availble.
any body know if there is a new part number that can fit ?

If it is just a VSV (vacuum switching valve), then you can use just about any 24V VSV you find on a Toyota. Most of them are functionally the same, the main thing that changes is the mounting bracket and specific application.

Where is this valve(VSV) located on your vehicle and does the valve control engine shutdown or the engine idle when the A/C is on?

The VSV that controls engine shut down on my 13B-T (24v) died so I got the VSV from the idle control off a BJ73 (24V) and changed it over. It worked great. I also moved this VSV which is down on the engine block to up on the fender near the power steering reservior so it doesn't get mud and crap on it again. I think any VSV will work as long as it's 24V.

I got quoted $200 Aussie by Toyota. I picked one up at the wreckers for $20. You should look around for the part at a wreckers. Take about 2 mins to change it over. Make sure it's 24v
