Idle drop issue

Gentlemen,
My 94 FZJ80 has a solid idle at a stoplight when the heater is not running. I notice an ever so slight drop (maybe 600 rpm or just a bit less) if I have my heater/blower on the high position at a stop. I was thinking alternator or voltage regulator. Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks in advance.

if you haven't done anything with the alternator I'd start by replacing the brushes, it's a kit you can get from Toyota and relatively cheap and easy to install.
