Ideas on how to ship a fender

So a guy wants a fender off my parts truck and I don't know how to ship it. I think the dimensions of the box we made were 60x36x8in.

Too big for Amtrak max: 3x3x3ft.

Doesn't make since to pay Fedex $100 when the part is that much.
 
Bus shipment is usually only good with stuff that can't be damaged......

Let the buyer make the call and tell him if it gets damaged its on him.
 
Prewrap fend with cardboard, then put in a cardboard box close to it's size and try UPS. I think I sent a set last year to Texas for around $60.00. The prewrap in cardboard or bubbles helps with the bumps in shipping.

yeah size sucks..... just shipped a couple bumper corners for a whopping $7 dollar profit yesterday

Where is it headed? any chance to mudship?
