Sadly not me.... I am having some serious trouble at work related to the Cruiser wreck, can't afford to risk something else happening. Have fun guys..

Sorry to hear that, Dan. I hope everything turns out well for you. Hopefully next time!

Well, that was a blast!!! We arrived in Pinehurst, got registered, and then walked around looking at all the rigs. Everything from DDs to trailer queens to tube buggys, Toyotas, Je3ps, Sami's, Fords. I had the only FJ60 there!! All told, there were approx 100 rigs ready to go. They cancelled one trail because only 4 people signed up for it. We registered for the Latour Creek trail, because we know the trail leader. First trail we did was an off camber steep descent, lots of fun, really gnarly tank trap at the bottom with a live stream running thru it. I got high centered at the top, but almost made it. :o So then we started the climbing trails. My 60 outclimbed the lighter jeeps around me quite easily, but the Toyota trucks and Sami's were pretty impressive as well. Over all, we had a blast! We had some trail carnage, but nothing too bad. I learned a lot about the approach/departure angle capabilities of the 60. The results are that it's gonna get more lift and bigger tires. I'll post pics later. Wish you could have made it!!!

Sounds like fun. With the rain, I didn't want to have my 5yo's first experience a negative. Get any pictures? Any idea what the other trails were like?

Thanks,

DougM

The rain wasn't that bad, but some of the trails were very tight and steep. That may have bothered him. I'll post pictures tomorrow (hopefully). I wish we could have got more action shots, but due to the mud, we typically couldn't stop completely until the fun part was over!

sounds like fun wish I could have made it. Maybe we could set up a run that a couple of us could go up there and have some fun. Maybe wait for kliers, and other people and have a cruiser outting up there. The trails sound like fun. Lets see some pictures also

No way I'm taking the stickers off, Jeff. They're part of Clifford's personality........lost the TLC emblem on the drivers side is gone now, though.:crybaby: Now I'll probably get "Nice Cherokee" comments.
