A takeoff from my 79 FJ40 after a big cap ignition upgrade, I'm offering a small cap electronic distributor, 19100-61101. It can be used for parts or repair.
Might be useful for someone doing a year-correct restoration as these may have only been used on two years (79-80).
It has some axial slop and would need some machine shop work to get it to spec. It tore up a couple of distributor caps and added a great deal to my frustration before I realized the problem!
Minor points, but it's missing the o-ring seal in the base and the little plastic factory stop in the centrifugal advance mechanism. A common problem and an easy fix with a #8x1/4" OD aluminum spacer from Home Depot.
However, the rest of the distributor is in pretty good shape. The signal generator works (replaced recently), the dual vacuum advance diaphragms seem to hold vacuum, the centrifugal advance works, the gear is in good shape and the distributor shaft spins smoothly despite the axial slop in one direction.
Included is the 1979 FJ40 distributor, two caps that are pretty torn up and one unused aftermarket cap and rotor.

I also have available, the OEM pink Yazaki resistor wire that I deleted from my harness. The OEM igniter and coil are already sold.
