ID to CO trip coming up....

I can either go Coeur d'Alene, ID to Denver area one of two ways:

1) CDA to Butte, MT to Idaho Falls/Pocatello to Ogden/SLC to Price, UT to Grand Junction to Minturn

OR

2) CDA to Butte to Billings to Sheridan, WY to Cheyenne to Denver.

I'll be towing a 22' flatbed with my FJ40 on it both ways, so there'll be extra room for stuff.

Anyone need anything????? Necessity will dictate which direction I go......could go down one way and then return the other.

It looks like the return trip will be on I-70 W via Grand Junction/SLC.

Route #2 is faster IMO.

Route #1 is shorter mileage-wise.
Route #2 is faster time-wise.

FWIW, I'm working on picking up some stuff at Proffit's and delivering to SLC.
