I posted this on the blue room but if anyone here can help that would be great!

Okay I had my Icon extended travel with the resi's put on last week and the wrench to adjust them just came in today. My problem though is the hose for the resi's are in the way of where the wrench goes and every time me and my tech try and adjust the hose oil starts coming out. Also the hose rubs against the spring for the coil over and I know that is not good

I never used the wrench to adjust, I off-loaded the springs (allow full droop) and turned the adjusting ring with a brass punch/plastic hammer.

I might have put the resevoir in another spot but, since you have it there, I'd at least wrap the hose in a piece of split rubber hose or the like to help avoid any wear on it. But, thats just me...

I was thinking that the fitting at the top of the coilover body should be rotated to the left or right, but not down through the Upper A-arm. The connecting hose should go over the A-arm to prevent pinching it at full droop.

If you have the ICON wrench OR if you have the Racetec wrench they have a 3/8 pin on the handle. Use the handle pin to move the set collar 1/4 turn, then put the pin into another hole. Don't forget to back off the 5/32 allen set screw in the collar first!

If problems persist call the ICON dealer you purchased them from and they should take the time to tech you though it.

Hey Mark,
I took a look at his suspension. Can you adjust the angle that the hose comes out of the actual shock body? Currently, it faces directly down and the hose contacts the coils, which would eventually wear the hose. How do you rotate this fitting?
