I've almost pushed the "buy" button on these several times. With the light weight, greater tire sidewall that 17" can provide, and the great looks, they are my top choice. Is anyone here running the Icon Vector 5 wheels on their 200? If so, please respond with a pic or two and your thoughts on the wheels.
Lots of people are. They're Chinese made aluminum. Too bad - I personally cant stomach putting Chinese anything on the Cruiser.
I have 2010 LX570 stock and am looking for to get 17" 285/70/17 combo and looking at these wheels also.@1world1love has been running them for a while. I second them being a top 3 choice and probably the best looking of said choices.
My list goes something like:
Dakar Corse
Icon Vector 5s
Whatever Methods in the +35mm offset
Alpha Eqipts for offset and price, I'd probably pass on the full price AEs.

What size wheel tire are you running? And what offset? For the price I am a big fan. View attachment 3098341
Anything in the +25 to +50 will probably work fine with a 285/70R17. Toyota actually spec’d that size tire on a +50 wheel for the 200 series as an optional accessory. If you go lower offset, you may have to adjust some plastic. What size wheel tire are you running? And what offset?

I am looking at Cooper Discoverer AT3 4S 285/70/17 on the same rim you have in gold. That has +25 offset I believe or Method 70x with +35offset.
I am trying to understand which will be best to avoid any rubbing.
Icon also has a new design bead lock available in some compatible sizes.
One very cool thing on the Alpha Equipt wheels is a second valve hole, which is perfect for apex deflators, which might be the best mod I’ve done to date.
I saw no defects on mine. But I’ve only seen five total. Recently did first deep cleaning a couple and put some ceramic polish on them. Shiny!I dig the look of the AE Command and man are they cheap right now but how do they compare fit/finish to Method and others? The second hole for the Apex Deflators is nice.
Those look really nice. What are the exact specs of your combo? That is exactly where I am leaning.I saw no defects on mine. But I’ve only seen five total. Recently did first deep cleaning a couple and put some ceramic polish on them. Shiny!

I run 285/70/17 BFG K02 with OME BP-51 and SPC UCA’s. Before the suspension I had slight rub at full lock on pavement. It was minor but ultimately a good thing cause it motivated me to get suspension and now it works great no rub and it rides so much better especially Aired down in dirt. I might switch tires next to round but have been very happy so far so might just stick to works for me.What size wheel tire are you running? And what offset?

We have the same rig same exterior colour; mine is 2010.
Many thanks.
Nice. I think these Vector 5’s are the perfect offset. Styling always comes down to personal preference. I like the vector 5 as they are somewhat subdued on styling. Have a couple color options and they are also good offroad. I have ran my tires down to 15psi in sand with no problems. I agree those new icons with the semi bead lock are better if you what to go real low or are pushing your rig harder. Also the valve stems with the air down option are sweet as well but it’s real easy to just throw on my staun deflators and air down pretty quick. If I was able to go on more trips offroad I would invest in those! Need more vacation days! Also spending to much on rims that might get damaged is a bad idea.
