I have a stage 7 setup on my 200 Series. The 3.0 shocks came from the factory with no height adjustment made on the collar. I roughly have a 2-inch lift and love the ride. However, I do have some height adjustments if I want it. The gentleman at ICON said I rotate the spindle on the collar up to 1 3/4" if I want. Not sure how much actual height this corresponds to....

I wouldn't mind a little more lift but do not want to ruin the ride. How much should I turn the spindle on the collar? What's your experience? My shop is recommending 1/2" height on the collar will translate to 1" in actual height. Thoughts? Ideas? Thanks.

the ratio of lift at the shock to the wheel is progressive. starting at 2" it is pretty close to 2:1
half inch of lift will get you a little less than an inch of overall lift.
the factory spacer is 10mm and nets 20mm of lift.

hopefully your shop that you are using is willing to adjust the collar, drive it around the block and measure. then do an alignment once you have the height set.

if you crank up the tension on the springs to get the height you want, but find the ride has gotten too stiff, you can back off the spring collar and install a spacer on top of the coilover. running Icons, you'll need to machine out a notch in the spacer for the reservoir hose fitting (learned the hard way)

i'm running a 15mm spacer over 2.5vs coilovers for close to 4" of lift with a smooth comfortable ride.

What rear springs are you guys running? I have the 2.5s with stock spring as I didn't want to ruin the ride. Been running them for 2 years and thinking about ordering 3.0s on cyber monday but need to find a super comfy rear spring. Icon said for street there should be no difference but I'm a very aggressive driver on chicago bumpy streets/alleys/traffic.

I am running the ARB heavy springs in the rear. Love them....My LC is loaded. If you want some ICON rear progressive springs, PM me. They just couldn't support the weight of the bumper, water, gas, drawers, fridge, etc.

IIRC, you don't go off road and you're running Icon 2.5's and you're still looking to go to 3.0's?! I can't imagine a LC200 needing 3.0's for on-road use only. But it's your money
