Stay tuned for more information on the Extreme Offroaders Ice Races that will be held Febuary 5th and 13th, 2005 on Lake Winnebago, WI.

Any vehicle is welcome to participate and horsepower, tire size, suspension, or modifications don't change what class you run. Although seat belt and brakes are required for all entries, helmets are only required for the studded tire classes.

These races are one vehicle running a timed, technical course where both drivers skills and vehicles ability are tested without worrying about hitting another vehicle (snow banks are another story and would be due to driver error  )! Trophies are awarded to the top 3 drivers in each class.

Classes are:

Short Wheel Base
Medium Wheel Base
Long Wheel Base
Womens Class
Two Wheel Drive
Four Wheel Drive Studded
Two Wheel Drive Studded **(new for 2005)

Otter Street Fishing Club (Menominee Park), Oshkosh -- Sat., Febuary 5, 2005
Paynes Point Hook and Spear (CTH A), Neenah -- Sun., Febuary 13, 2005

Spectators get in free

$10.00 a class / person driving (**vehicle can only win one trophy per class entered)
$5.00 co-rider / passenger / per class (** no co-riders in the studded divisions)

Food and Drinks will be available for purchase by each Fishing Club (**Paynes Point will have food and drinks track side this year! **)

Tentative schedule.....

Registration from 9:30 - 11:30 a.m.
Drivers meeting at 11:45 a.m.
Racing starts at NOON

Bring your daily driver, comp rig, race car, grandma's grocery getter, or just yourself and have some fun!

We've been experiencing some excellent ice making weather (usually around 0 without the wind chill)!

Now I just hope the snow decides to grace us with it's presence so we have snow banks to use for cornering!

Hope to see you there!

The ice races are fast approaching.

We now have a good snow cover on the lake that should make some nice banks to aid cornering.

First race is next Saturday, Feb. 5th on Miller's Bay in Oshkosh, WI.

Are you ready?

Woody,

Quick question.......Have you rolled the cruiser on the lake, yet?

I can see plenty of picture opportunities in the near future!

Sturgeon Season is Sat. the 12th......park it right off one of the landings Friday and Saturday morning.

Right Crowd
Right Place
Plenty of FREE advertising

If it doesn't sell then bring it to the next race on the 13th. If nothing else there is track side spectator parking and you could advertise it as well as warm up in it.
