Okay folks, the IA4WDC Elections are fast approaching (December) and we as a club need to decide who we are going to vote for. Please review the following list and then PM me your vote for each officer. If you have questions as to who any of the folks below are, I can ask them for a brief write up as to their credentials. Since I'm the current TCC delegate for the association, I'll make sure that we are represented in the vote. However, due to the timing of the next meeting, I may not be able to attend (baby due date) and I'll make sure we have representation there.

The meeting was today, here are the minutes.

Treasury Report: $3499.72

Leo Rappaport, DNR director meeting
* DNR should not be a road block now.
* The biggest issues are
** Finding a location. Work through DNR, DOT and Dept of Agriculture.
** Legislative hurdles.
** Need to know our \"numbers\" in the state.

Delegates voted by show of hands:
* President: Luke Graham
* VP: Art Schramm
* Treasurer: Jim Shanks
* Secretary: Ken Ristau

Events and Promotion
* RTI ramp plan on hold. Cost, liability, storage concerns.
* Rookies donated tips from last event to the Association in the amount of $23.
* Rookies is set up for us today (1/10).
* Web site revamp. Ken to come up with some alternat formats. Current software has calendar and can set up accounts for others to contribute content.
* Events at club land.
** JOCCI\'s The Farm could support about 20 vehicles.
** 4x4 Syndicate\'s Area 51.
* Tour de Fours road rally
** Stage at Saylorville and camp over night.
** Drive a northerly route through Grimes, Granger, Polk City, etc.
* 20/20 Road Rally

501(c)(3) Status
* Jim Shanks has a friend at work who is a lawyer and interested in 4x4 sports. He has a lot of experience with obtaining 501(c)(3).
* Charitable opportunities are plentiful
** Saftey demos for the public.
** Toys for Tots.
