Hello you guys, I need a 40 series transmission transfer case shield. Exactly like the attached pictures. Anyone out there have this part for sale by chance? Going on a 1978 bj40 / fj40. Thanks, Dave

Don't see many 40 series around Temecula, but I happened to see a 45 and a 40 yesterday at a shop off of Diaz.

@65swb45 may have what you're looking for in Burbank? (Mark at Mark's Offroad Enterprises - you can call his shop and ask if he has what you need - (818) 953-9230)

I have a skid plate off a 1971 FJ40 with a 4-speed transmission. I am north on the 15fwy from you, if interested.

Hey there Marty Mart. You mentioned you have a 4 speed skid plate off of a fj40. That might work. Can you send a pic by chance? I’ll compare to mine ( pic in my post on the one lm looking for ). ALSO,,,Where are you located? And how much $ for the skid plate? Thanks for any info. Dave, Temecula

I did open one up the round entrance holes to get better access to the tranny/transfer case

Hey Dave, I just bought a 1963 FJ40 with 31k original miles. Are you the person that restored a 1962FJ that is now in the LC Heritage Museum? I would like to ask you a few questions if so. I am not very familiar with the protocals used here so please bear with me...Rod W. Upstate, NY
