I need a tranny shop (1 Viewer)

One of our members found a good tranny shop in north Fort Worth a couple of years ago. I'm trying to find out the name of the place. I have a 5 speed tranny I need to rebuild and drop in the BJ42.

Can anybody help me out?

I use Cookson Transmission in Cedar Hill. They are on Hwy 67 on the West side. Cookson has rebuilt two Landcruiser transmissions and an SM 465 for me.

Do-Right looked closed though, I did not see any vehicles out front. Glad to hear he is still in bid-ness.

I think he is Monday-Friday only nowdays.

Nick, Standard Tranny is who Mike recommended when I was rebuilding that Mini truck last year. I ended up getting a better deal buying a rebuilt unit from Marlin Crawler, even with the shipping and exchange figured in. I am sure Marlin would rebuild what ever you needed if you are willing to wait for the ship, repair and return time. I don't think he carries the LC trannies ready to go out the door like he does the minitruck stuff.

i'm pretty sure i don't need any comments from the peanut gallery. i think i do just fine without you guys cursing me to the cruiser gods, too.
the rig he has out front is nice, but the dude selling wants fifteen k. i'm not entirely sure that it begs that kinda change, but it is nice.
and my rig has only been there twice. since roundup.
