I need a pic of 91 FJ80 dash (1 Viewer)

Hey all,

I'm hoping that someone will take a quick pic of the left lower portion of their 91 FJ80 dash. Specifically, I need a pic of the area where the fuse box is located. I'm trying to figure out if that area was replaced by the PO with a different year model as the texture/paint don't seem to match the rest of the dash very well. It was missing the fuse panel cover and I ordered one for a '91, but it doesn't fit well. Got me thinking.....


If you could take a pic with the fuse cover on and one with it off, I'd greatly appreciate it.

I don't have pics but I can tell you my fuse box cover doesn't look like it fits right either and I always wondered what was up with it

Thanks for the feedback. The fuse cover seems to have a pretty decent curve to it and the dash is pretty flat and the lower tabs don't line up perfectly either. Either way, I can tell that either the dash or the cover is not right..not sure which?

I haven't got a picture either, but when I got my 80 I thought I needed a new fuse panel cover because it didn't look like it fit right either. After taking it off and putting it back on a couple times I figured out it was installed upside down. Sounds pretty stupid, but are sure that in't the case for you also?

Oh yeah..... The hole/handle goes on the bottom. It will go in place the other way but fit like s***.

Ok, I'm confirming what my wife already thought. I'm a dumbass sometimes. It WAS upside down. Fits like a glove now. How did I miss that? Thanks for the easy tip and don't tell anyone how dumb I am.
