Certainly depreciation is a concern, but seems like cash expenses are those the OP is battling, so those that occur in the short term (one or two years) were the ones I tried to address.
In terms of depreciation, not many vehicles depreciate much slower than a 10 or 15-year old TLC or LX. : )
