Blacksheep, I saw your post over on TTORA, what a clusterf#ck. It's exactly like the Jeepforum.com site. Three pages of hijacks, non post related drivel. That's what happens when things get too big and the "annointed" don't reign in the wanderers.

On the meet at 0700, I think you guys waited long enough, others should leave earlier if they can't tell time.

Great pictures guys.

This was the first time I wheeled with Mike (Blacksheep) & Eric (Cheme02). Both great guys. Eric wheeled his stock height, non-slidered 80 like a pro. He picked his lines with care keeping his rockers off the rocks. :D I think he only brushed his rockers a couple of times. Mike took his monster Taco through the hardest lines he could find. His truck made all the obstacles look like a cake-walk, even sections that would devour my truck looked easy. I thought he was going to get bored. I don't think either of these guys broke a sweat out there.

I had my good friend Pat and his brother James along for the ride. And of course my usual co-pilot Luke. Pat, James and myself all weigh in the neighborhood of 230-250 lbs., which resulted in lots of powder-coating being removed from my sliders. (read as; I need J's big time).

I started off rough. The first rock encountered on Sidewinder clipped my rear DS flare. I had to backup to avoid tearing it off and in the process, cracked my DS mirror housing. I am beginning to really hate those flares!

I almost flopped onto my side at the end of Sidewinder and of course made a boomerang out of my relay rod. Good times.

Video is coming . . .

You had to be there. HEHE. Anyways, Cheme02 and Landcrusher70, not sure if your members of TTORA, but if you guys could chime in, the guy that was there kind of made it a big deal that we were not there, but i did tell him that if he was there at 7:40, he would have wheeled with us, and maybe my clock was fast, but when we got on the I8, the clock said 7:56AM. I wish I would have saw the guy.
Mike,

Dude, that's a total joke over there. Guys off topic, retarded back and forth banter, and the dude claiming to be at the Carl's Jr. @ 7:40. I'm not even going to get into that mess.

Anyway, hope to see you around here more. We like to wheel. :hillbilly:

Reid, I would wheel with you guys anytime. Love your rig. Very nice setup. I think we both got some ideas off each other. My next run is Big Bear Aug 18th and 19th. When I get back, I will be running local trails just about every other week.

I do have lots of work I would like to knock out before big bear, so till then, the truck will be at jack stand alley trail. I need to remove my axle shafts from the front and cut them a few MM off. They are too long and turning my hubs to lock in. And need some small stuff done.

Next year, I would like to swap the rear to 17" travel coils or air shocks like the front, flatbed, roll cage and notch the frame and change the steering a little bit in the front. Also want to sell my rims, and get the same ones but with a diff backspacing, so that I can increase my steering radious and add rock rings to the rim. Then I should be about done for a long time.
