I followed Troll's tip on changing out my headlights for the Sylvania "Silverstar" high performance lights and man, I am really amazed!

Recommend these to anyone who owns a 40. Not only bright, but white light, too! I think they push about 60 watts instead of the 40-45 watts of regular headlights.

The make owning a street 40 a mighty bit safer!

Did you change on your 62 too? I will be changing out the 40 soon too. Big difference on the 62!

wait,

white light is not allowed on 40s... it is required to look like yellow crayon juice that spills out of the headlights.

Thats what I used when i replaced my headlights. Super bright!
