Wuts up?

Do the newest models 70 series have a pto?
If so, will the old one fit and is a old 40 series pto winch possible to mount????

these are the ones currently for sale now 2012 or 2013 year I think

If your transfer case has the PTO cover ,you will still be able to add the PTO gear from an older model but the PTO as an option disappeared a while back,I couldnt see it on a 2004 model parts diagram.
I dont think the VDJ7* even have the PTO cover and they do not have the hand throttle option either

You could probably mount anything to the PTO if you want to get driveshafts made up.
I would probably just go and buy an electric winch, there is some reasonable quality ones available for not much these days.

the newest model 70 series does have a pto option in the transvercase.
I took alook at the dealer a few days ago.

I dont understand toyota does not offer a pto winch...
also v8 turbo diesels for my market.
We could really use it, im sure we have alot worse conditions that ausltralia in our jungles.

It will soon change I hope because australia is getting tighter emmision standards etc...

it also has a trottle control turn knob
the plate is on the tcase and should have a gear inside.

You wouldn't get far in the jungle in one of the vdjs

the v8 turbo diesel is a great engine and should last in the jungles.
my father drives a 200 series with about the same engine.
it has been mauled, batterd and hammerd in the jungle and still runs and drives fine, I see no problems there.

It could be one of the most offroaded non modified 200 series.

has anyone got a new 70 series to check if it has a pto gear inside and the possibily of pto winch is doable??
