Hi Guys, I have 2 used manual hubs for an HZJ79, if you want to convert your full time 79 series front end to manual hubs then you need these. They are 560 each new from yota, I paid 250 plus shipping from oz, I'll let them go for 175.00cdn. I have a spare set and don't need two sets I figure:)

You need to mention to anyone interested that if they have a 79 series that did not come with manual hubs, the hubs you are selling will not work unless that also change the birfields.

Thanks,

Michael

I have done the conversion a few times and know what is needed, thanks for pointing it out - I am always up front with people and would mention it long before the hubs leave my house.

Birfs from OZ are needed or 80 series birfs trimmed a bit with a new clip ring cut work fine - longfields trimmed and a ring cut work as well. OEM birfs are about 700-800 bucks each, aftermarket (read china) are as low as 60 bucks each from OZ (tha is what I run and run hard with no breakage). Aftermarket birfs from Japan are availabel but I am pretty sure they are made in China as well.

There is no way to make the original birfs fit as the spline is slightly different and no amount of machining will make them fit.

That should cover it and you are welcome Mike.
