I'm hoping to get some help with this one. I want to replace the interior side front and rear window weather strips on my 1991 HZJ77. It would appear the outside strips are no problem but the inside not so easy.

68220-60020 Front LH

In the mean time here are a couple pictures of this beaut that Steve and his crew at Land Cruisers Direct did a phenomenal job on. Looking forward to getting this rig exactly where I want it and using it as intended.

Hopefully at some point I'll have something to offer back the community here! So far it has been very useful soaking up all the information available here so thanks to all of you guys that make this place happen.

looks great, what size or those wheels/tires

Why would it be any different than a Prado?

Rear door, inner for Prado with picture and in stock.
REAR DOOR PANEL & GLASS | LAND CRUISER LJ79LV-MN 04.1990 - 04.1996 | Toyota | Genuine Parts Catalogs | PartSouq Auto Parts Around the World

Why would the front be any different than any other 70-series? Wing window or not is all that should matter but perhaps the retaining clips are different? I recently installed new ones in my PZJ70 with no wing windows, part # 6817090K00

6817090K00 Toyota WEATHERSTRIP ASSY, FRONT DOOR GLASS, INNER Price: 24.27$, Weight: 0.175kg - PartSouq - Auto Parts Around the World

FRONT DOOR PANEL & GLASS | LAND CRUISER PZJ70LV-MN 01.1990 - 01.1994 | Toyota | Genuine Parts Catalogs | PartSouq Auto Parts Around the World

If you have not done the window runs I highly suggest you do those as well.

Cheers

Thanks for the reply. I thought those would work but they attach differently. Mine actually attach to the door card at the top via small tabs that you insert through a slot and bend over. I do have the openings in the door frame where the parts you listed to clip in but I don't have the holes in the top of the door card / trim for those clips to pass through, where it wraps over the top of the door frame. I'll continue my search. It looks like the exterior strips would certainly be a match.

Daurie.

Here is a shot of the trim. I should have taken one while it was off. The chrome lip is part of the weather strip.

Loober, Sorry I didn't reply, 285/75-16. They fit nicely.

Have you tried checking to see if FJ60/62 or even 80-series is a match? Maybe a Prado?

You could take a measurement and post a couple pics of yours in those areas of the forum.

Cheers

Ya that is more like a 60/62 or 80. I would check into those working on your truck.

Cheers

Isn't the 77 & 76 Series basically the same vehicle aft of the firewall? If so, that would open up another avenue for parts and our friends in the Middle East perhaps can help.
**Very nice 77 Series by the way.

@Gun Runner 5

I think the full door cards are unique to JDM 77 series, 73 series, and Prados which also make the weatherstrip in question unique to JDM.

I could be wrong though. I have never seen a 76 series with full door cards.

Well as my wife points out, I'm often wrong. :)

On second thought you are probably correct. If I remember correctly the door cards on my 77 Series went all the way to the top of the door body while based on Internet photos that isn't the case with the 76 Series.

I should clarify what I said to help avoid confusion to others that read what I said earlier. I think the full door cards on the JDM 77 and 73 series are offered only on the high level trim only such as ZX.

Maybe some of the European HZJ73 series have them too depending on trim level. All of this is just based off my observations and is not fact.

I actually like the non-full door cards more myself. Sorry for the thread hijack.
