Hi guys, first time posting, long time stalking. Sit tight, it's a long one
.
My partner has a '95 75 with a 1hz and a bunch of the wiring burnt from all the wonderful previous owners stacking dodgy wiring on top of more dodgy wiring. So I've gone thru an torn heaps out, rewired accessories properly and fixed plugs and all that fun stuff. It's looking good now, my only problem is the fuses. Previously it had bigger fuses in melting everything which was obviously super great. So they're all replaced with what I would have assumed to be 'correct' fuses. The only issue I'm having is the actual box not matching the cover. I had a stalk thru here and it seems there's a bunch of different fuse boxes and fuse covers and I'm just not sure what it's actually supposed to be.
So this is what's in the car, (noting the second row of terminals actually in the box and yes I intend on replacing that broken one down the bottom when I can work out what one to buy haha)
This is the cover that's in the car (note the second row showing no fuses at all)
This is one I found on this forum that looks more like it matches our fuse box, even tho it's grey and all his trim is brown and I can only find versions of this in grey?
Aaaaand this is the back of his fusebox, with the one nice thick wire, and then one piddly little green wire that I don't trust holding a 30A fuse that's supposed to be governor? I was also under the assumption that the governor was mechanical in the fuel pump?
So yeah, I'm extremely confused. Our mate that also has a 75 1hz has a black fuse box that seems to match our fuse cover? I'm trying my best to cross reference harness part numbers to make sure this harness is actually out of this car, it has little bits of old tape with red pen labeling different plugs and stuff but it seems like the part number tags have been torn off so I'm really getting nowhere at all. If anyone has any kind of setup similar to this in their car or has any kind of info on what on earth is going on here I would appreciate it more than you know
cause I'm at my wits end with this bloody car hahahaha!!
(Also I hope I did the pictures right lol)
