As soon as I crossed the boarder to Mexico yesterday I just noticed today that I got some play in my wheel when I grab the tire on top and bottom and rock it. It's a few millimeter. It doesn't look to be the bearing but rather the whole thing moves. What am I looking at? Worn bushings in the birlfeld or maybe the birfeld itself? How can I find out without dismantling it what parts I need to order and how soon should I fix that?
I am not loosing any oil or grease at all, the front end was done about 35'000km ago by the previous owner, so in my opinion no reason to be already worn right? That's why I can't explain why I got so much play there?!

Thanks for any tips!

It's a 1993 HZJ75 by the way!

that's what I thought!
I rechecked today again, left/right is 0 play, top/down about 2-3mm on the steering knuckle...

How long can I drive like that? 100km? 1000km? 10'000km? I doubt that I can get parts easy here since this is not a common car model...

oh and could I somehow only change the trunnion bearings alone without removing the whole birfeld? It's not leaking grease and as said, was rebuilt about 20-25'000miles ago from the previous owner.
I also checked the steering arm (mounted on top on my car) and it looks good, doesn't seem to have any play at the bolts. It's really the complete steering knuckle that moves up and down a few millimeters when rocking...
