hzj lift

Hey guys i looking at a 2in lift kit right.
And i have a HZJ73 chassis landcruiser
i got a Quote from a ARB stocker for a HZJ73 and all up and it was $2000!!!
now i found this it says for a 70 series and it looks the same as what i need.

Now it says for fj70,bj70,bj73,bj74 not a hzj.
So would it work? its alot cheaper.

First step is to state your location.

Those models are all the same.
Also,they use the same springs as a 75 series on the front and the same as a 60 series on the rear.

And do you mean that a HZJ73 chassis is the same as a BJ73?

My local parts supplier sells them to the mines,says he has no complaints,but the mines are not looking for articulation or a comfy ride.
They are most likely made by someone else and whoever owns maxitrac, just paints their name on it.
Most suspension packages are like that these days.
Dobinsons are good and still make their own spring packs

You are never going to get a definitive answer to these types of questions. To compound things further,there is no guarantee that Ironman/Maxitrac have been using the same supplier all along.

Some companies buy some reasonable quality spring steel and throw a crap leaf from India in with the good ones.
With suspension packages,what you are getting can also be a mystery,maybe some reasonable springs with some rubbishy shock absorbers painted with the company logo.

They get away with it because 98% of owners never use the suspension to its maximum
