A couple of folks did it on their 80s but the consensus seems to be that the 80 steering pump is not powerful enough to achieve the nominal specs of the winch. I.e. a 12000 lbs MileMarker winch would really give only about 8000 or 9000 with the OEM pump.
May be better on the 100, I don't know, but you probably should check carefully the numbers.
