I've followed this forum for quite some time but never had to post because my LC has been pretty much problem-free until now. 1999 LC with 201,000 miles. The brake pedal has been sticking recently. In other words, the pedal stays depressed when I remove my foot and the vehicle won't even move. I have to lift up on the pedal to disengage the brakes. Took it to the dealership today and their response was "can't duplicate the problem, but we think it is the Hydraulic Control Unit, which will be $3,400." I'm suspicious of this dealership anyway because their service people have been switched to a commission based compensation.
Any suggestions? I'm thinking Master Cylinder, but don't have any other brake problems than this one.
