***SEATS FIT ANY VEHICLE THAT TAKES PLANTED BRACKETS***

80 SERIES & 70 SERIES INSTALL PHOTOS BELOW
(will add 100 Series pics if I can find them)

I usually haunt the 80s Forum, but thought I'd cross-post this over here for those in the US who may be looking for new manual front seats at a thousand-dollar discount. Company is looking to get into the US market, and seats will be sent by ship instead of the usual $$$$ air freight. Other than additional photos, this post is pretty much the same as my original 80s Forum post (linked at bottom).

I’m told these seats were offered in the Pontiac G8, which was actually built in Australia. Website says DOT-approved. Leather on you, with back and sides covered in “PU leather.” Adjustable lumbar on US version.

Personal experience / review links welcome.

Search "Huracan" in the 80 Forum and you'll find a bunch of installs/reviews/happy customers re: their made-in-Texas tailgate lids.

Company just started selling into US aftermarket. I have not seen or tested these seats myself. I first heard of them when I came across this post in Box Rocket’s thread:

Where in the USA can I sit in one of these?

That, is an excellent question. Until now, my understanding is they've been pretty much all-Aussie, and sales into US have been one-offs. I've seen three people on Mud with some experience, one of those (quoted in the thread) is in Panama and just installed and took an 800-mile trip, the other two are in Australia. Long drive for a test-sit. :) Lemme ask the company guy...

I’m in Phoenix. FYI

Oops, lemme update him, I just told him Glendale.

UPDATE: Word is it's a chicken-and-egg situation. With no US retail distribution (yet), there are no shops where you can go take a sit, so to speak. And those individuals here who have them are (so far) widely scattered. Which is one of the reasons they're offering a discount--to help get more butts in seats. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful with that.

For me, this is a better deal than rehabbing the stock seats which, even at their best, are heavy and slow.

I am in Glendale AZ. I say Phoenix because Glendale can be either California or Arizona.

So is there a list for those participating? Or do we just order through the website?
