Gents, I have a question, i have a new to me 100 series with AHC and I need to replace my upper front UCAs. The heat here has eaten up the ball joint rubber. I DO NOT have a lift kit yet and my hundy is stock..

I was going to get OEM UCAs but they are not serviceable. I need to be able to service them and because of the heat here I am not very interested in purchasing a new arm every time my ball joint goes out. I also have mixed feeling on uniballs verses sealed ball joints.. Im leaning to sealed ball joints, thus the nitros.

I was thinking of getting the nitro UCA as I can easily get a tundra ball joint or field replace them if needed. My budget for UCAs is around ~$700.

Any pro/cons to using the Nitro? I also plan to rip out the stock bumpstops and use the JD soft front bump stops..

I would love any experience or comments!

@RS6tofj80 , I'd be curious to see your alignment sheet and your front and rear adjustment bolt settings for your Nitro UCA's.

look at Slee's site - $560 for a pair. SPC
I have them on my rig and they are fine and do their job.

I have total chaos I got on sale at Metal tech three years ago- No problems and no corrosion. I would have absolutely no hesitation getting Slee or anything JT is selling... OEM did not work for the size of lift and tires that I wanted to run.

They came in. They look nice. Like the pics they don't have the brake line mount so you will have to zip tie them to the arm. They also use a moog ball joint with 1.25 diameter tube on the arm.

Thanks Hoser, I also plan on replacing all the bushings at the same some so I was looking for the whole arms.

I'll post that up monday - need to dig it out of the paperwork..... but it's spot on, very stabil at speed and it really cut the torque steer I was having

I've seen rubber caps for other upper arms that may work on those ball joints, as well.
