Hello All, new member checking in. I found this site through several links on clublexus forums. I've attached a pic of my 2006 GX470 as it was in July 2016.
I purchased in 2013 with 110k miles and now it has 165k miles. I'm not sure how far i'm going to go with making it more offroad capable but I do use this at my hunting lease which is very hilly, rock, and downright treacherous after a rain.
So far I've done a few mods but nothing too serious. I'm running BFG K02 on the OEM rims. I deleted the air suspension and replaced with conventional. Bilstein 5100 up front and Strutmasters in back. I got 2 or 3 inches lifted in front and i'm crawling over rocks better now.
I came here for inspiration. I will likely will install a set of sliders next and we'll see where this goes.
