Hi from down under fellas,been lurking around here for about 12months,asked a couple of questions and you blokes helped me out,but mostly iv'e just been reading.
I'll try to get some photo's up of the old girl,no not her,the cruiser
The old girl is a fj60,84 mod,it's had a new roof from rust,still has a bit on other spots but nothing too serious,runs on lpg and petrol,has two lpg tanks under rear@ 140 litres,then a 75 litre petrol tank,3f motor,5 speed,16x8 wheels,285/75at bfg,opposite lock springs,ome shocks,damper,front end rebuilt,steering joints and column rebuilt,brakes rebuilt,stratos seats,120 amp alternator, iv'e been inspired by some of the cruisers on the registar,boy some of them are nice.
Early next year we are moving to west aust and the old girl will be used for prospecting and cruising around the outback,at the end of the year its coming of the road to receive a few extras,whats planned is:350 tbi,new diff,new box & transfer,uhf,sat phone,fridge,third battery in rear,snorkel,winch,air bags on rear springs,heavy duty front sway bar,large alluminium radiator,and a few other bits.
What wiring harnesses have you blokes found to be the best? I know the painless ones are available down here.
