how would you rate your FJ cruiser seats?

My wife and I hated ours, we refered to it as FJ butt. We have since replaced them with Corbeau Suspension seats, much preferred.

Yeah, think I'm about to do the same...

I have back issues, so I think the suspensions seats will be a better fit, overall.

Had to pass on the Corbeau seats until they get the air bag issues worked out. I'd like mine fully functioning.

I'm on 45k miles now, lot's of 1000+ mile trips. They still look pretty good, even with dog all over them ;)

I find the driver's seat to be ok... there are enough adjustments on the lower cushion to make it acceptable. The passenger side, however, is a whole different story. My wife and I feel that the lower cushion is too low in the front and too high in the rear... we can never get comfortable on long trips unless we place a pillow under our legs near the front of the cushion. I was thinking about whipping up some spacers for the front mounts of the passenger seat to basically 'lift' the front of the seat... has anyone done anything similar?

Drove from Chicago to Seattle last week... No FJ butt... all good except for the flat windshield running into a bird!

compared to other true offroad vehicles I think the FJ seats are great. I also have to get them adjusted just right...lower seat as far to floor as it will go...not too much rise on front edge of lower seat...seat back just barely beyond vertical recline....firm enough not to compress and lose support on long rides. Driving from Charleston to Ouray CO this year (1975 miles one way) I had no issues and nor did the wife. Only thing I would add if I did the Wet Okole seat covers is add the LUMBAR option...other than that I like them.

Especially after driving CJ7, Jeep YJ, Jeep XJ, FJ60 and also the FJC.....
