How would I do a PPI out of state? (1 Viewer)

I'm in Birmingham and one of my possible cars is in Dallas. How would I check the car out except to fly there?

Any suggestions?

There are online companies that do pre purchase inspection. Some give pretty good report with the inspection. It can be a hit and miss depending on the local people doing the inspection.

Most dealer also do this as long as the seller willing to take it to your chosen dealer.

Lexus vs Toyota...
Lexus = V8, more leather, more wood and creature comforts.
Toyota = less of everything mentioned above.
Both will never leave you stranded and will go hundreds of thousands of miles worry free.
Problem is, most people know the off roadability of 4Runners, so it's hard to find one with low miles and has not been abused.
A Lexus will have the same capabilities of the 4Runner but most people (excluding our crowd here on MUD) aren't aware of that so it's usually easier to find a Lexus with lower miles, better condition and better price.
