I built a similar set up and have decided to stick with my clunky old laptop, if anyone's interested in it:

How come you selling? Didn’t like the Surface?I built a similar set up and have decided to stick with my clunky old laptop, if anyone's interested in it:
The Surface is fantastic, great to have touchscreen.
Should i just re install it? Can this be done on a mac yet or still jsut windowsCable interface/drivers aren't installed correctly.
It has Xhorse MVCI selected so im kind of lost. Maybe i have the wrong cable?Still just windows as you have install a VM on the mac that is running WinXP from what I gather.
For the drivers... there is one of the dropdowns (think setup) that has you select your device. You have to have the XHorse drivers installed and the Xhorse VIM selected. It doesn't automatically do it for you.

Downloaded the two original links provided in this post and just found the cable on amazon.I've never seen that cable before.
Did it come with its own driver or did you download x-horse and techstream separately?
Cable did say that it was for Toyota TechStream TIS correct? There are ones out there that have the similar chipset but are for other "brands" of cars.Downloaded the two original links provided in this post and just found the cable on amazon.

I know yours is sold but if anyone were to get into the business of selling turn-key systems like these I feel like they would sell like crazy. I would prefer the tablet anyway. Too bad I missed out on yours or I would've picked it up.I built a similar set up and have decided to stick with my clunky old laptop, if anyone's interested in it:
Think it is a little limited on market. Few users out there that would really want it for what we do.I know yours is sold but if anyone were to get into the business of selling turn-key systems like these I feel like they would sell like crazy.
