Okay, so I want to make sure I remove everything properly before I pull the head. All that is left is the head and its internal components. My manual says to start by removing the oil delivery union, spring and and sleeve (where are these?) from the rocker valve shafts. Are these 4 bolts that hold on the rocker assembly? It then says to unfasten the securing nuts/bolts from the valve rocker supports for pulling the rocker assembly out. Then pull out the 12 pushrods. (cool on this). Next it says to "remove the valve lifter (side) cover and gasket" (Not sure about this one either?) It then says to unfasten the oil delivery union from the oil feed pipe (Hmmmmm?)
My manual has proven to be a little helpful but since it covers about 6 or 7 toyota engine, it reallly doesn't have much in the way of pictures for the 2f. I guess I'm just wondering in what order I remove everything. If someone has a pic or link that identifies the things I'm not sure about that would be awesome. Or if you just describe where the parts are, that could be of great help too. I just want to get this $ucker off today! Thanks as always guys. IH8MUD KICKS ASS!

That is a description for a F motor.

You do nto have to worry about the Oil Distribution line on a 2F. It is built into the head.

You also don't have to remove the pushrods or the pushrod cover (long plate that has a dent in it for the distributor cap.)

Take off the valve cover,

Unbolt the rocker assy.

Unbolt the head (all of them, check twice to make sure you removed all of them)

Remove the head (typically a pita)

if yoy pull the springs the valves will fall into the motor ;)

Not a big deal, you can always pick them up when the head is off ;)

You rebuilding the head?

I'm gonna drop it off at a machine shop. My head gasket popped back on 4th of July after watching fireworks. Looked like a smoke bomb blew up in the parking lot. Figured I would save some money and learn something by replacing it myself but think I should pay someone to rebuild the head since it'll be off anyway. Sucks because the PO had it rebuilt about 40K ago. Thanks for the advice
