I am curious if anyone knows of a carrier in Mexico that will insure my truck for stated value ? The place I tried to get a quote from will not insure anything older than 20 years for full coverage.

Thanks

Thank you , I'll check em out and see what they say.

Please let us know what they say as many others would like to do the same thing.

Good luck.

They said liability only.

Makes me wonder how people can risk driving such expensive vehicles down there with no coverage? I have a 1989 rj70 I own and daily drive when I'm in el Salvador . I can only get liability on it also, they won't insure a car older than 8 years full coverage in that country. That tuck isn't that expensive but it still bothers me that I can't insure it completely . They tried to car jack me once in San Salvador about 1.5 years ago. My bj73 I just bought is waaay to expensive to risk driving down there without full coverage.

I wanna take my rig to watch the Baja 1000 and drive to Cabo but don't know if it's worth the risk.

That sucks, from everything I've ever known MexPro was the go to guys. How about just flying down and renting a truck with full coverage? I think I'd be looking into that option as well.

Sorry my suggestion fell short but please take some pics and share them with us. :(

Hopefully a more experienced Mudder will chime in with a better idea.
