How to do AHC delete without getting lights on the dash?

My AHC is dying a slow death and I’ve just mentally started planning to pull the system out within the next couple months.

I’ve seen plenty of threads of removing AHC, but almost none on the electrical side of it. Is it possible to delete AHC and have no lights on the dash? If so, what the process?

I deleted AHC on my 2008, retained AFS and no warning lights.
