I will need to rerun my exhaust and will need to bend 3" exhaust tubing. I don't like the tube with the ridges for bending. Is there a shade tree mechanic way to bend standard round exhaust tubing without needing an actual bender? I have acces to a tube bender, but it maxes out at 2"s for building cages.

You could always buy the HF pipe bender everyone errantly buys thinking it is a tube bender if it has a 3" die. The old trick to not collapse the pipe is pack it with sand before you bend if you are going to try and find something round to bend it over.

Just find a big rock, that's how I always bend mine
