How to ajust the hand brake

I checked the FAQ and the forum but couldn't find anything. How easy /hard is it to ajust the hand brake. Mine has to pull all the way up. I have ajusted hand brake in my cars but I just want to double check before I do anything in my LC

Check the cable that runs along the rear side of the diff and axle housing for excessive play. If you have excessive play here you will see the in-line adjuster (may need a squirt of PB Blaster to make loosening easier); also a good time to inspect the bell crank to make sure it is pivoting and not rust corroded.

Otherwise I am not sure if there is an adjustment closer to the e-brake handle or not...since I adjusted mine at the rear axle and has been fine since.
