Power steering
Locking diff.

I am no mechanic so what would y'all expect the labor to be too?

It's tough, and expensive, owning one of these puppies if you can't work on them yourself. I have no idea on the power steering, because it has never interested me, but you will pay between $300-500, and maybe more, for the locker, before labor costs.

Now is a good time to learn a little. Find a club in your area and go from there. If you need a rear locker a lock-rite or Aussie will go in very easily. We put one a club members rig in less than 2 hours.

The power steering is a little more involved and will depend on what you want the vehicle for. Saginaw for powerful rocks, FJ60 or scout have good road feel, Mini-truck for the most "bolt on" affair. Do a search on power steering and you will see the differences.

With a saginaw conversion, assuming you buy a rebuilt box and pump, parts will cost between 650.00 and 1000.00, depending how fancy you go with the column, shaft and u-joints and on your motor, V-8, 2F or F. The F is usually more expensive of the lot. The F will probably require new pulleys if you don't have double groove pulleys.
If you go to a 2F balancer with a double pulley you will need to have the matching water pump pulley which will probably mean changing the water pump ( they're a different height ). It's cleaner and faster to use a 2F alternator mount and move the alternator to the passenger side. If you're paying shop labor
time saved outweighs the part costs. The pump can then be mounted high on the drivers side with available bracketry, saving you the cost of a fabricator having to fab up something at 75.00 an hour.
You will probably have issues with the air cleaner with this set up
Depending on who installs it figure 8 to 12 hours labor, maybe more on an F motor
