I am new to the 4 link thing I am used to a 1 ton leaf sprung axle so I am wondering how much abuse will the stock rear links take before they start bending or breaking. Is it going to take some serious wheeling before something goes wrong?

The stock rear links are fine for lite wheeling, unless you hit them on a rock.. they are pretty thin walled. If you are going to do any serious wheeling I'd get one of the many aftermarket heavy duty lower arm replacements, they are pretty cheap..

They will bend readily upon encounter w/ a rock. The brackets are also weak and subject to bending and, worse, are shaped such that they can get you stuck on a rock if positioned correctly.

How about the upper links they seem pretty small. I am thinking of swapping with all pro links. I dont get into rocks all that often its mostly sand and dirt trails.
