How many quarts of gear oil for T-case (93FZJ80)

Hi,

I don't have my FSM handy. It's already packed with all the fishing gear and some other stuff. I did check my gear oil in Tcase and it looks more or less ok, but I fill better if I will replace it. How many quarts do I need?

97 FZJ80 is correct 1.8l

But,

If this is the first time that it's been done in a long time, I would susgest flushing it with cheapo 2l 80-90 then refilling it with 80-90 synth. Hey it's only an extra $4 to ensure that most of the old crud is out.

Just remember my job in LC life is trying to just get the "old crud" out of my 93.
